Pyret is a fully integrated brand for baby, children’s and maternity wear, with products that are designed, produced and distributed through proprietary stores and franchise stores in Sweden and abroad. The company’s philosophy is to cater for happy, dry and warm children in all types of weather. Since its inception in 1976, Polarn O Pyret has established itself as the leading brand and store concept for children’s clothing in the quality segment of the Swedish market and its clothing is famous for its high quality, functionality and design.
In Sweden, Polarn O Pyret currently distributes its products through proprietary stores or franchise stores, and the total number of stores exceeds 50. Polarn O Pyret began its international expansion in 2003 by opening operations in Norway. The company does not operate any proprietary stores abroad but expands through a franchise model, in which a master franchisee receives the exclusive rights to establish Polarn O Pyret stores in a specific market. Today, Polarn O Pyret is represented in 9 foreign markets with another 3 markets during start-up phase .
