RNB RETAIL AND BRANDS guidelines for animal issues

Material from endangered species of animals may not be used in RNB RETAIL AND BRANDS’ product range. Material from exotic animals must be identified by species and checked against the CITES A and B lists. Products made from or featuring items made from animals on the CITES A list shall not be in the product range. Products made from or featuring items made from animals on the CITES B list shall be dealt with in accordance with applicable legislation.

Furs and fur items may not be included in the range within Polarn O Pyret, JC, J-Store and Brothers & Sisters.

RNB RETAIL AND BRANDS believes that animals shall be treated well and be protected from unnecessary suffering and disease. If there is any deviation from this, alternative materials or methods shall be investigated and prioritized. RNB strives to place demands on animal care and where possible demands information that confirms compliance.

Animal experiments shall be avoided to the greatest possible extent. Cosmetic end-products in the RNB RETAIL AND BRANDS product range shall not be tested on animals.
